Dutch artist Sema Bekirovic's photographs, films and installations are often play with reflection in combination with nature. Her 'Props' installation for example consists of three sided (theatre stage prop-like) models of skyscrapers which have been placed in the desert, resembling building projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Canadian Loyal Luxe has a small but lovely range of pet products and I particularly like their new cardboard cat houses such as 'The Native American Teepee' and 'The Canadian Cabin'. I wish they did Labrador sized ones.

The Miss Maple lamp by German designer Elisa Strozyk is made from her incredible 'wooden fabric'. The flexible material consists of fragmented veneer which is attached to a textile base which is translucent gap between the pieces which creates the pattern.

They are fascinated by the great amount of different materials available on the market today and say that the possibilities for 'We Make Carpets' seem endless.
